I have no idea how I missed this but Mattel, those also responsible for Barbie, created a series of dolls in the late 80's that lived in Muffin Land! Merry Muffin Land to be exact!

So the main character was Cherry Merry Muffin and she hung out with her friends; Apple Amy, Banancy, Chocolottie, and Berry Betty. Lilly Vanilly, Greta Grape, Bubblegum Becky and Penny Peppermint came later.
Anyway, they all lived in Merry Muffin Land in little muffin houses and baked muffin treats for each other all day long!
What a beautiful role models these baking goddesses could have been to millions of girls and boys everywhere!
